Newroz piroz be!*
On Newroz, March 21, which is the feast of the Middle Eastern people, became a national feast in the liberation struggle of the Kurdish nation. . The colonial fascist dictatorship has tried to oppress the Kurdish people celebrating Newroz with great pleasure imposing bans, realising attacks, arrests, detentions and even massacres. During 1991, the year which is characterised by Serhildan s (Kurdish uprisings), 31 Kurdish patriots and in 1992 94 Kurdish patriots were killed by gunfire. In the following years attacks and massacres continued.
